P741 CEEFAX 741 Sat 19 Nov 15:02/12   RELIGIOUS NEWS   BISHOPS PRAISE CAFOD'S APPEAL CAFOD's work raising over £3.8 million in their emergency appeal for Rwanda was praised by the bishops of England and Wales during their November conference meeting.   The appeal began in May 1994 when the nature of the crisis in Rwanda became apparent and the money had been raised by November.   CAFOD said they had been overwhelm- ed by the response of the Catholic community in England and Wales which had enabled them to support ongoing emergency work.  Read Hear 710 Environment 730 Events Devotion Prayer Radio/TV
