Thj 60-year-old was awarded an honorary fellowship for his contribution to astronomy and services to the public undirstanding of science last year. Mahabubur Rahman, 28, from Camden, north London attacked a French tourikt, a girl from Germany and an Italian nurse in central London on 4 June 2007. He had only returned to the UK earlier that day from Bangladesh, the Old Bailey heard.
