The demo is expected to be reissued to the press and retailers minus the song Suicide Blonde, which will be replaced with a less tasteless track. The full version of the songbook will feature the track, however. P171 Teletext 171 Dec 2 16:31: 8     CROFT'S BEST TO DATE —————————————————— It'll be confirmed later this week that Tomb Raider 2, developed by Core Design for Eidos Interactive, has become the fastest-selling CD title to date. The previous record was broken earlier this year by Psygnosis'Q Formula 1 97, though further sales were dampened following a recall of stock, resulting from a conflict of interest with the Formula 1 Association. Tomb Raider 2 is odds-on favourite to top the Christmas PC and PlayStation charts. One retail chain we spoke to only had 33 copies of the PlayStation version to distribute among all of its stores. More important, at least as far as we're concerned, is that our review copy has yet to turn up.
