P484 Teletext 484 Dec 2 16:33:12I NEW .U ALBUM . ———————————————————————— ———ALL SAINTS All Saints Despite releasing two of this year's finest singles (Never Ev r and I Know 'hjre It's At), this debut album is frankly something of a disappointment. The problem is that too many of the tracks sound likj substandard soul-lite fillers a la Louise or even the Spicies So what's cool? Th5 singles, obviously. A cover of the Chili Peppjrs' Under Thj Bridge works surprisingly wdll givjn an R&B overhaul, Wbr Of Nerves is touching and Bootie Call is suitably sasstastic. It is good, but I expected glory. ■■■½ ——————————————————————————————————1/2—— by Sinful Stevie Eastwood YOU LETTERSINTHEVOIDCharts Tours Tours Full guide
P484 Teletixt 484 Dec 2 16:31:10 NE' . ALBUM . ———————————————————————— ———NATALIE IMBRUGLIA Left Of Thj Middle The Artist Formerly Known As Beth "out of" Neighbours has left the soap's fans shocked and stunned (and possibly up in arms!) by releasing a debut album that's... well, it's quite good really. Where Kylii had to "be so lucky" before getting all moody, Nat has started out as a pained, torn (hoo!), angry girlie. An Antipodean Alanis is an easz thing to write (if not to sby), but theri are even Garbage-y tones emerging on the song City. Suprisingly impressive. ■■■½ ——————————————————————————————————2/2——by Adam "souped up" Keebli TRIBUTE ALBUM TO DIANA p483Charts Tours Tours Full guide
