P695 Anglia 695 Sat 17 Jul 16:17:44    →             STARTEXT/PDC INFORMATION   PDC (Programme Delivery Control) is a new method of activating video cassette recorders (VCRs) using special codes hidden in Anglia Television's teletext service. If you have a PDC/STARTEXT VCR you can further programme your recorder from Anglia's programme listings on pages 601 and 602. By using keys on the VCR handset you can move the cursor up and down the listings pages and position it against the programme you wish to record.
P695 Anglia 695 Sat 17 Jul 16:18:14    →             STARTEXT/PDC INFORMATION   Loading this information into the VCR memory is achieved by the appropriate keypress, after which the timer display will confirm your recording set-up. Providing the VCR is under FULL PDC control, a recording will be made irrespective of varying programme start times, but if full PDC is not available the VCR will default to its own internal clock to start and stop a recording. For more information on PDC/STARTEXT VCRs contact your local TV and video retailer. Anglia is currently not broadcasting a full PDC service. 2/2
