Joe Tizzard had time to glance over his shoulder on the latter at the last but had no answers when Estacado drew alongside and went clear on the run-in. Seamus Mullins trains the winner and he explained: "It was a bit of a shock as I thought some of the others might be a bit too good for her. "I'll have to speak to my feed man now - he must be giving them rocket fuel!" LATEST BIG-RACE ANTE-POST PRICES 686 Daily Quiz 685 BHB 691 Race News 661 Leic Revw MRas Revw Winc Res Leic Res

The contest had turned into a two-horse affair with Vent d'Aout but not even Tony McCoy's assistance in the saddle was enough to cut down the lead. "She took to it very well and seemed to enjoy herself - she's something special I assure you," said Thornton. "The ground is definitely the key to her success because she does prefer a bit of cut underfoot." "I don't normally aim too high but with a mare of her class we would have to keep our options open," said Alner. "We could aim her at something decent, maybe at Cheltenham next March. "She jumps fences better than hurdles and is built for chasing. "She also really loves Wincanton." Mogford is now aiming for a tilt at the conditional riders' title. "This is obviously my best season ever and I will certainly be giving the title my best shot," said Mogford. The Martin Pipe/Tony McCoy team landed a double with Mite Equal in the handicap hurdle and then Take Control in the closing novices' hurdle.
