P205 CEEFAX 2 205 Wed 01 Dec 13:37/35       BURMAH REPORTS STRONG PROGRESS IN H2 Chemicals and lubricants company Burmah Castrol has reported strong progress in the second half of 1999 and said its trading outlook remained good. Burmah said it was actively implementing plans to boost turnover by seeking further partnership plans and by significantly reducing costs. Last week, it announced a deal in which its Castrol brand became the officially recommended lubricant for BMW vehicles.
