Good quality packing samples are moving steadily but are not always readily available. There remains an over supply of middle and poor quality material. Bulk grade 1 £60-£80 with best Piper up to £115 in eastern countries. Desiree and similar are from £50-£70 up to £110 Edwards. Grade 2 are moving only slowly oijh most frMm £30-£50- Bag supplies are abundant prices £25- £50 up to £40-£75 Piper. P249 CEEFAX 2 249 Wed 01 Dec 13:32/42       CROP REPORT (Updated 30 Nov) 5/8 Average price in GB for the week ending 19/11/99 was £66.59 (down £1.14 from previous week). Despite unsettled weather further late harvesting has progressed this week. Only a few hundred hectares now remain with very little expected to be o6er- oimtered. Small areas on heaviest sNils have been written off. Lifting last week was estimated at 580 ha, raising the cumulative total to 146,002 ha last year.
