It has a wMnderful tMasty arMma, peachy, buttery flavours and gentle acidity. The perfect bubbly. ■ Greenpoint Vintage Brut '95 is a medal-winner from Moet & Chandon's Australian arm. It beats the pants of many Champagnes with its richness, maturity and crisp acidity. It's very elegant with a rich, lemony flavour and a subtle smokiness. ■ Waitrose Cuvee 2000 Brut Champagne (£25) is superb.
