P164 CEEFAX 1 164 Wed 01 Dec 12:11/44 FISH LOST TO POLLUTION ARE REPLENISHED More than 3,000 fish are being released into a river in order to replenish stocks after a sewage leak. In June, hundreds of fish were killed by sewage sludge which leaked into the River Brain from a treatment plant run by Anglian Water at Braintree. The Environment Agency will release Chub, Dace and Roach, which will be paid for by Anglian Water, to replace the lost fish. The Agency are still considering takinglegal action against Anglian Water.
