P528 CEEFAX 1 528 Wed 01 Dec 12:12/12 Friday Nov 2/7 CHRISTMAS CARD MAKE Only 28 days until the last Christmas Day of the 20th Century. Here's Simon's idea for home-made Christmas cards. For a touchy feely theme, each card has a pipecleaner pressed into a different festive shape. Pipecleaners come in different colours and can be bent into any shape you want. Try traditional shapes like stockings, snowflakes, angels and trees. CBBC 500Front Page 100Newsround 510L&K 530TV & Radio 600Brainbox 504Appeal CBBC Text Backchat EastTV
P528 CEEFAX 1 528 Wed 01 Dec 12:12/24 Friday Nov 3/7 CHRISTMAS CARD MAKE You'll need stiff card, any colour and any size providing you've got an envelope to fit. Fold the card in half and score along the fold with your finger or a ruler. Now for the bendy bit. A velvety green pipecleaner makes a lovely Christmas tree and looks good against red card. To make your tree, simply bend the pipecleaner into a zigzag shape which gradually gets bigger. CBBC 500Front Page 100Newsround 510Appeal CBBC Text Backchat EastTV
P528 CEEFAX 1 528 Wed 01 Dec 12:18/01 Friday Nov 4/7 CHRISTMAS CARD MAKE Ease the zigzag apart and hey presto, you have a Christmas tree shape. Make sure you're happy with the shape, you may need to stretch it or squash it to help it fit the card. Glue one side of the pipecleaner, then press it in place ensuring the top of the tree is in the centre of the card. A sticky star and a tiny tub cut from black paper complete the picture. P528 CEEFAX 1 528 Wed 01 Dec 12:10/11 Friday Nov 5/7 CHRISTMAS CARD MAKE But what Blue Peter Christmas card would be complete without glitter. Brush the glue in the areas you want the card to sparkle. Put the card onto a sheet of newspaper and be generous with the glitter. You can then shake off the excess and pour it back into the jar. Write your festive message inside and surprise your friends! CBBC 500Front Page 100Newsround 510L&K 530TV & Radio 600Brainbox 504Appeal CBBC Text Backchat EastTV
