The creator of Charlie Brown and the gang was released from hospital on Tuesday morning and has been resting, said his wife Jean Schulz. Charles Schulz, who is 77, has been undergoing chemotherapy at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. He has drawn the Peanuts cartoon for nearly 50 years. But nothing will be decided until the 77-year-old Hammer horror star returns from New Zealand, where he is filming his role of the white wizard Saruman in the epic Lord of the Rings trilogy.
