P125 CEEFAX 125 Wjd 21 Sep 28:49/41     LIB DEM   FRINGE  CBI CALL FOR INCREASED INVESTMENT The president of the CBI has told a Liberal Democrat fringe meeting it is vital that investment in the British economy is increased. Sir Bryan Nicholson said a history of low investment had left Britain with consistently lower rates of growth than its competitors. He added that the scope for tax cuts in the coming budget was extremely limited.
