P374 CEEFAX 374 Thu 24 Jan 22:09/04   KETTERING IN  FOR NORTHAMPTON  Northampton has been ditched from this year's Milk Race in favour of Kettering after a row over a start point. Northampton councillors said they could not hold the sixth stage in the crowded town centre and offered instead a car park on the outskirts. Race organiser Brian Elliott said: "I am disappointed. I understand that the townspeople are the priority but we just wanted to be closer to them."
