P185 CEEFAX 185 Thu 28 Feb 22:19/07    Soviet Foreign Minister Alexander Bessmertnykh has welcomed the Gulf ceasefire and the liberation of Kuwait. He said it was the first time in history that the world community had joined forces to stop the seizure of one country by another. Mr Bessmertnykh said the main priority after the ceasefire was to prevent any resumption of fighting in the region.
