He looked to have recapatured full fitness in two French championship matches for his club. The recovery of the 6ft 6in Neath prop from groin trouble and Evans from a knee injury is good news for Wales. Especially since they bid to end a dismal run of eight successive defeats in Paris stretching back 16 years.
