P342 CEEFAX 342 Thu 7 Mar 21:59/37   ONE-DAY INTERNATIONAL  Colombo 1/2 Tour manager Bob Bennett has complained to the Sri Lankan board about practice facilities allocated to the England A team for Friday's day-night match. The team were sent to a school playing field while the home side practised at Colombo's SSC stadium, with Bennett describing conditions as "diabolical." Coach Keith Fletcher said two concrete nets provided were useless because the run-ups were muddy and a pitch prepared on the square had not been covered and was saturated by rain.
