The Benetton driver won the Japanese and Australian GPs at the end of 1990 and Mansell believes the proven car, engine and driver plus newly-acquired Pirelli tyres, will be unbeatable. But Britain's top GP driver warned: "After the first couple of races it could be a very different matter." Piquet has named Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost as his main rivals in the US GP.  Next Page Sport General M/Sport

Mansell, back with Williams after two eventful years with Ferrari, says Phoenix and Brazil would be "very much a testing ground to sort out problems which arise inevitably with a new car". He added: "I'm looking forward to the season with more enthusiasm than ever before. I plan to be in the points in both races before we return to Europe." His Williams has a new chassis and a revised Renault V10 engine.  Next Page Sport General M/Sport
