The 15-round World Championship series opens on the demanding 3.69-mile Suzukacircuit and pre-season testing times point to a tremendous battle in store. Australians Doohan and Gardner have been pleased with their machines while Californian Rainey has been in sparkling form on the Marlboro Yamaha.
