Request "economy service" at Post Offices. Transit time is about 10 days; do not send alcohol, perishable goods or pin-up magazines. Forces aerogrammes (blueys) go free for next of kin. For BFBS Gulf Radio Requests write to: BFBS Middle East, BFPO 637 or BFBS London BFPO 786. The shorter the message the more can be used on air. Flight timings and destinations change at short notice for many reasons and airfields cannot accommodate visitors. Keep in touch with your relative's unit - they will be able to let you know when he or she will be back at the camp and what the reception arrangements are. If you have a particular welfare problem contact your local Naval Personal and Family Services Office. For domestic matters contact your local Families and Housing Welfare Service (FHWS) representatives. Wives in married quarters (MQs) keep in touch with the Station Welfare Support Organisation.
