P695 ORACLE 695 Sun30 Sep C4 2354:36 WEEKEND 2/10 MICHAEL GETS WRONG EARS Thanks to a donation from the GracemeadSociety, Michael Bowen, born deaf and without ears 17 years ago, was able to enter hospital recently for a private operation to implant artificial ears and give him some hearing via a hearingaid in one of the ears. His mother however, is now demanding the money back! Not only are the ears several shades lighter than Michael's skin colour but also one of the ears, which are held on by screws, keeps falling off and the hearing aid falls out whenever he moves his chin.
