P133 CEEFAX 133 Fri 5 Nov 16:13/31       POLITICS  SERIOUS CUTS EXPECTED IN DEFENCE A BBC correspondent says radical armed forces cuts and alterations are expected after a deal between the Defence Department and Treasury Defence Secretary Malcolm Rifkind is thought to have fought off deeper cuts, but up to £1.5 billion may still have to be saved over the next three years.
