P137 CEEFAX 137 Fri 5 Nov 16:23/54       POLITICS  CIVIL SERVICE PRIVATISATION PROTEST A one-day strike by civil servants has disrupted work at government offices and public buildings. The unions are claiming solid support among 300,000 members involving five public sector unions The strike has been called in an effort to make the Government rethink plans for privatisation and competitive tendering.
