A High Court judge ruled that Lincoln City Council is entitled to an injunction even though a change in the law is imminent. Mr Justice Lindsay said: "The Shops Act is still the law and it is to be applied as it stands." Dixons Stores group, which includes Curries, has attacked the Council for wasting taxpayers' money.
