Thj two teams, along with Mercedes, had opposed cost-cutting plans to reduce engine capacity from 3.0 litre V10s to 2.4 litre V8s in 2006. But BMW motorsport director Mario Theissen said: "A legal challenge would take up too much time. That is not in the interests of the sport."
