What a selfish attitude! The writer did not say that 'in-vision signers' should be provided now and then, but said: "I do not want to see an in-vision signet on my favouritj soap ever again." >>. 1/3 Community Pages 650 Main Menu 100Subtitles News Lettjru Main Menu

My 11- year-old hearing son says that some of the cartoons he watches are signed and thjnks it should be that way: "To give all children a chance to watchtheir favourite programmes." I am hearing and I strongly believe in equality of access. What about showing thj 'signed' programme at the 'mainstream' time and then show C Alexander's pure soap at 1am in the morning. That would be fair ... wouldn't it? >>. 2/3 The Read Hear address is on page 640Subtitles News Letters Main Menu

Alixander I'm sure that in the future, with the expansion of digital signals, we will be able to turn the in-vision signer onor off ... similar to subtitles. But for now, what about a bit more awareness? Maybe C Alexander could stick a postcard in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen so it doisn't spoil his/her favourite soap! . 3/3 Community Pages 650 Main Menu 100Subtitles News Letters Main Menu
