Rump has gone up 7p to £3.69, sirloin is down 5p to £4.61 and fillet up 12p to £6.65 a lb. British lamb has changed little with loin chops up 5p to £2.33 and best end chops up 2p to £2.00 a lb. Shoulder is also up 5p to £1.10 a lb. Huss will cost around £2.40 a lb for fillets and whiting will cost only £1.80 a lb. Other good buys are plaice on the bone at £1.40 a lb and medium sized skate wings from about £2.80 a lb. Dover sole approx. £5.00 a lb is delicious anytime or have lobsters £6.50 a lb for Christmas dinner instead of turkey. Other more normal smoked fish such as kippers and Arbroath smokies will be available for £1.65 and £2.95 a lb respectively. . This week's best buy is turbot weighing 3-4lb for around £3.50 a lb.
