P211 CEEFAX 211 Tue 8 May 21:14/15 Teachers in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight are to stage "guerrilla" strikes from Thursday. The action is being taken by the National AssNciation of Schoolmasters/ Union of Women Teachers, who have rejected a 4.5 per cent pay offer. The union has said it would try to avoid affecting examinations. The Prime Minister has condemned the teachers strike.
