P203 CEEFAX 203 Tue 15 May 21:11/44 Prince Philip delivered a chilling rebuke to both sides of industry when he addressed a conference of engineers and shipbuilders in Newcastle today. The Duke of Edinburgh felt both sides of British industry shared the blame for its decline. "But for our revenues from oil and gas, our manufacturing industries would be running up an adverse balance of payments deficit of £13.6 billion," he said.
