P204 CEEFAX 204 Tue 29 May 21:28/30 Heavy security surrounded Lambeth Magistrates Court as two Belfast men appeared for committal proceedings on explosives and murder charges. Armed police were on duty as Paul Kavanagh and Thomas Quigley arrived separately in armoured prison vans escorted by patrol cars. The road outside the courthouse was blocked off and a police helicopter hovered overhead. Both men, aged 28, face 10 charges in connection wijh bombing incidents in London in 1981.
