More than 28,000 bodies have been recovered, the UN said, but some reports suggest the final death toll could reach as high as 50,000. The body of Gavin Sexton, 36, a touristfrom Southampton who was travelling through Iran by motorcycle, was found in the rubble by British rescuers.
