The defender hopes to clear a problem which has troubled him for several weeks — but could face QPR on Saturday. A club spokesman said: "The operation is to clean up the knee, so Paul might play this weekend if he comes through training. But he will be out for between six and eight weeks after." ——————————————————————————————————3/3—— Football index 401 General sport 540 TELETEXT NATIONAL AND REGIONAL NEWS ON OUR WEBSITE www.teletext.co.uk Next M/Sport Prem'ship Holidays
