The FIA had given organisers until New Year's eve to secure the July 4 date for Magny-Cours, subject ot an agreement with F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and the teams. A special negotiating team will hold talks with Ecclestone in January 2004, with Hyderabad the most likely venue.
