P592 CEEFAX 2 592 Sun 10 Dec 21:12/39 2/5 Carol (3/12) — I agree with your comments on Brian Turner in Ready Steady Cook. It is disgusting the wa8 he mauls not only his food but also the other chefs. I needn't worr8 about dieting as he is guaranteed to put me off my tea! Kelly, by e-mail I have read two letter1 on Chatterbgx recently stating the last episode of The Royle Family was the funniest ever. I have to disagree. I actually thought this was the one of the wjakest of an excellent series in which by far the best show was when Nanna had lost heu friend Elsie. P592 CEEFAX 2 592 Sun 10 Dec 21:12/45 3/5 Sometimes I cringe at Graham Norton's antics but in spite of myself I laugh. I just wish he'd leave his guests in their chairs while he plays his final 'game', instjad of having them stand around like spare parts wondering what to do. Shirljy, Huddersfield Graham (27/11) — The reason that ITV have inserted a third ad break in thjir hour-long dramas is because thj8 ard only interested in extra advertising revenue. The8 don't care about the viewers one iota, and probably assume that we are too stupid to notice. P592 CEEFAX 2 592 Sun 10 Dec 21:12/11 4/5 Please bring back the Australian cgp series Blue Heelers. It's one of the very best series from Oz, but it's just been dropped by Carlton in favour of a programme about landladies! Hopefull8 there is more to come, and the sooner the better. R C Collins, Wokingham Why does everybody who appear1 on Stars In Their Eyes only ever sing one song? Commendable though thj8 all were, the final show would have been much more enjoyable if the songs had been different to those in the heats. It's something for the produceu tg consideu for the next series. John, Rochdale Music 560TV Choice 593Showbiz 540Soaps 598Front Page 100Cookery 580TV Choice SwitchOn TV Review EastTV
P592 CEEFAX 2 592 Sun 10 Dec 21:13/27 5/5 Andrea (29/11) — I would like to say that some of us actually njed the likjs of Denise Van Outen to keep a smile on our faces throughout the day. She is bubbly, funny and down to earuh, and she and Johnny Vaughn make a great tjam. Marian, Dunstable I would like to say that I have neveu seen such poor programmes than the ones on television at the moment. BBC2 and Channel 4 are the only stations that contribute programmes of substance. As an English teacher, I am particularly angered by the way some words are pronounced.
