P158 CEEFAX 158 Tue 24 Aug 21:26/12       WORLD  BOSNIAN CROATS PROCLAIM REPUBLIC Representatives of Croats in Bosnia Hercegovina have proclaimed their own republic. A meeting of the Bosnian wing of Croatia's ruling party, HDZ, have rejected plans for Mostar to become an international protectorate. They declared the new state would be based on areas already being run by a Croat administration.
