P197 CEEFAX 2 197 Mon 29 Sep 2p:24/40 STUDY CALLS FOR AID FOR GWYNEDD ECONOMY A two-year EU study into the impact of second homes on rural economies, including Gwynedd, has been published. The study group warned that the county needed special measures to prevent it being "at the end of the queue". They call for farming policies to be reassessed, with a possible look again at part-time farming. The group, which put forward 40 proposals in Brussels, also called for a special "bank" for rural business. 7/8 A-Z 199 Letters 145 Headlines 101TV 600 Front Page 100 Subtitles 888A/Z Index TV/Radio News Heads Main Menu
