She dropped in on the Albert Square set at the BBC's Elstree Studios and had a "good mosey around", one of the show's stars, Gretchen Franklin, has revealed. The 78-year-old actress, who plays Ethel, let the cat out of the bag yesterday when she met the Princess on more official business - at a presentation in London. The all-action helicopter pursuit game starring Annabel Croft has been zapped by ITV planners who say it was a ratings flop. The secret decision to ground the programme for good came late last week.
