P208 ORACLE 208 Tue 7 Nov TVS 1944:22   CLAPHAM RAIL DISASTER -  BR SEVERELY CRITICISED The official report into the Clapham rail disaster has severely criticised British Rail and revealed "unacceptable and dangerous working standards." Thirty-fivj people, mostly commuters from Hampshire and Dorset, died in the crash in December last year. The report made 93 recommendations and called for a radical overhaul of working practices.
