But James Laming's partner in the alleged scheme, Martin Cox, 31, of Chessington, Surrey, was cleared of any part in a conspiracy to supply cocaine. Laming, 49, a car dealer in Peckham, South London, was convicted on two counts of conspiracy to supply the drug Laming said self-confessed drugs baron Rjnj Black was a backer for the gun project but both he and Cox denied any knowledge of Black's cocaine dealings.
