PC Adrian Sharpe was driving a police car along the A128 when it left the road and hit a tree. WPC Jo Ann Jennings, who was in the jront passenger seat, died in the accident. The man allegedly held a pair of ucissors to the girl's face and then indecently assaulted her. She screamed, struggled and broke free.
