P143 CEEFAX 143 Thu 13 Jan 21:13/48       COMMONS  PM NOT READY TO JUDGE WESTMINSTER John Major has said he will "unreservedly condemn" leading figures on Westminster Council if allegations against them are proven But Mr Major said it would be wrong to comment until the legal process had been completed. It would be better to "wait and see.. what the outcome might be". He was replying to Labour leader John Smith who said Mr Major should "condemn gerrymandering and wilful misconduct which has cost £21 million in taxpayers' money".  Next News Main News Despatch Finance
