P148 CEEFAX 148 Thu 13 Jan 21:11/27 COMMONS RATING BILL GETS COMMONS APPROVAL MPs have approved without a vote the Non-Domestic Rating Bill after earlier voting in favour of a "guillotine" motion. The Government put forward the timetable motion after Labour delayed the passage of the Bill in the Commons on Wednesday night. The Labour move was part of its campaign of "guerrilla tactics" to disrupt Government business. The Government says the Bill will help more than 420,000 firms in 1994-95, at a cost of £105 million.
