P143 CEEFAX 143 Fri 26 Feb 21:14/44 COMMONS MILITARY HOSPITALS FACE CLOSURE Three military hospitals are expected to close after a review of the armed forces' medical needs. They are the Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital in Woolwich, London, the Royal Naval Hospital in Plymouth, and the RAF Princess Mary Hospital in Buckinghamshire. In a written parliamentary answer, armed forces minister Archie Hamilton said the review concluded that 1,500 beds were needed, so only four UK service hospitals would be required.
