P173 CEEFAX 173 Fri 26 Feb 21:11/23 FROM NEWSROUND PLANS FOR STAMP AREN'T A TALL TALE! The world's tallest man may soon be making his mark in America. Robert Wadlow grew to 2 metres 68 centimetres before he died in 1940, aged 22. Now people in his home town - Alton in Illinois - want the "Gentle Giant" remembered on American stamps. They have written to the Postal Service with their request. Wonder how big the stamp would have to be to fit all of Robert on?!
