P342 CEEFAX 342 Fri 26 Feb 21:12/11 2/2 CRICKET: ONE-DAY INT'L, Bangalore Paul Jarvis gave his England career a major lift by taking five Indian wickets to give them a 2-1 lead in the best-of-six series. His inspired spell followed his omission from the third Test, a decision which he admitted had "hurt a bit." He added: "I haven't bowled as well as I can on this tour, but I feel confident and feel that when I bowl I will get wickets." The only blot on England's effort was a slow over-rate which cost them fines of about £200 per man. England A Ind v Eng NZ v Aus WI v Pak
