P625 CEEFAX 625 Fri 26 Feb 21:08/21  1/6    The stars of Casualty go out in a blaze of glory - literally - in the last episode of the series.   Viewers will see Holby City's Accident and Emergency department go up in a mass of flames.   The cast had to work against a backdrop of intense heat and smoke while being drenched by a sprinkler system to complete scenes.   Producer, Geraint Morris says: "It was an ambitious scene to tackle, we've had air disasters, cliff rescues, boats sinking but burning Casualty down was pretty tricky! 
P625 CEEFAX 625 Fri 26 Feb 21:24/17  2/6    The ants featured in The Little Creatures Who Run the World are actually computerised.   They exist only in the memory of a computer and their behaviour is modelled on real leaf-cutting ants.   Playing the pure and religious Joanna in Mr Wroe's Virgins is a change of role for actress Lia Williams.   In the past she has only played psychopaths and mad, dangerous women but she thinks her role as an obsessional virgin is not all that  different. 
P625 CEEFAX 625 Fri 26 Feb 21:21/12  3/6    The BBC have scored major successes for their drama, comedy and current affairs programmes in recent TV award ceremonies.   Philip Schofield presenter of Going Live! and star of the West End musical Joseph has been named Showbusiness Personality of the Year by the Variety Club of Britain   The Full Wax with Ruby Wax and current affairs programme Panorama have also won awards in the Annual International Television Programs and Promotions Competition and the American Cable Ace awards.  BBC1 601 BBC2 602 TV Links 680
P625 CEEFAX 625 Fri 26 Feb 21:11/17  4/6    Little did the production team of The American Way of Birth think that the gift they gave presenter Jessica Mitford would end up at the inauguration of President Clinton.   After completing filming The American Way of Birth for BBC2's Birthnight the team gave Jessica a mirror which wolf-whistles.   But the crew later found out that she had given the mirror to her friend, the writer Maya Angelou.   Jessica had given Maya the gift for good luck when she was to appear at the Presidential inauguration. 
