Sheikh Mohammed's filly was fourth entering the final furlong but found a good turn of foot to lead close home and score readily by 1¼ lengths. Plaisir d'Amour finished strongly for owner Michael Tabor to snatch second place, a head in front of Arruhan. Dettori earlier landed the big races on Asfurah and Shantou. "It has been a good day, even the horse at Pontefract has won," quipped Gosden. "Noisette is a really nice filly and she has come back well considering she didn't like the trip or the ground in the Musidora Stakes. "Seven furlongs or a mile is her trip and she loves this fast ground. She could be the type to do really well in America as the surface would suit her." Top-class juvenile Bahhare won the contest last season and Haami also appears to be potentially smart. Richard Hills' mount was green in the early stages but swept through impressively to lead inside the last. He wandered slightly once he hit the front and displayed an awkward head- carriage but this did not prevent him scoring easily by 2L from Opera King. "He looked okay didn't he, but this seemed the weaker division," he said. "He ran quite green here and is still a little weak, but is bred to get a lot better with time. "On paper he will stay a good deal further than this but we have no specific plans as yet as to where the horse will go from here." Ray Cochrane, who was notching a double for the day, produced his mount with a sustained run from two out and he led near the line. However Manolo and Literary Society both finished to tremendous effect and were cutting him down all the way. The nine-year-old had enough in hand though and held on in a 'head-bobbing' finish by the minimum margin.
