BBC1, Sunday There's little doubt that David Croft is a TV legend — Dad's Army, Are You Being Served?, Hi-De-Hi and Alto Alto speak for themselves. Sadly his most recent collaborations (You Rang M'Lord and this railway comedy) have proved to be disappointing bordering on the sad. Here the Hi-De-Hi ensemble — this time as railway employees circa 1963 — are trying to avoid Dr Birching's axe. Let's hope he targets Harley Station by the end of this series.
