On 1-2 September there will be a partial eclipse of the sun. It begins at 21h 44m, and ends at 02h 35m, so obviously will not be visible from Britain. On 16 September there will be an eclipse of the moon. It begins at 17h 08m, and ends at 20h 25m. Clouds permitting it will be well seen from the whole of Britain.
