Dr Seuss's Whos were charming, inoffensive little creatures. In the film they're rather venal, greedy, selfish and immoral. P153 SKY MOVIEMAX 153 06 Dec 2324:04 SKY TEXT    4/4 THE GRINCH (cont) BARRY: A lot of money was thrown at this movie and it looks good - but it's over-elaborate, cluttered where simple would have been better. I can't help feeling that it was a mistake to havj Sir Anthony Hopkins link the action in a voice over by reading from Dr Seuss's poem.
